An update from babycenter on how the baby is developing this week:
The baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato (our other book said about the size of a large MANGO). Baby Klump's arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of his/her body now. The hair on his/her scalp is sprouting. Our baby's sensory development is also exploding! His or her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that he/she may be able to hear our voices now. I was actually wondering that as we were worshiping this morning at church.
A few other really amazing things....
In the last week or so, Baby Klump has been working on mastering the skills of yawning and hiccuping. Baby is also one of a kind now (though he/she was from the moment God began forming), but Baby Klump now is complete with unique fingerprints on his or her fingertips and toes!
God is sooo good and I am LOVING being a part of this miracle!
Here is one more fun picture for the week. We had a mango in the fridge. So when we read it was the size of a large mango....we just had to compare :)
